• Remanufacturing saves energy & reduces greenhouse gasses.
• It takes much less energy to remanufacture than to recycle.
• Last year almost two million cartridges were remanufactured.
• This year, recycled cartridges will save 3 million gallons of oil.
• Each new inkjet cartridge requires two and a half ounces of oil.
• Plastic is rated from 1 to 7. Soda bottles are rated a 1 - the most biodegradable. Toner cartridges are rated a 7 - the worst.
• Used cartridges thrown into landfills cost taxpayers money.
